For Charities2008 - 2009 Eligibility PeriodCFC's annual eligibility period will be open from Monday, March 3, 2008 to Thursday, April 3, 2008. Applications must be submitted to CFC of N. Central Texas' office no later than April 3rd. Late submissions will NOT be accepted. Charitable Organizations interested in applying for participation in the 2008 - 2009 campaign are strongly urged to submit applications as soon as possible after the eligibility period opens. See the below "Eligibility Training Notice" for specific information regarding those trainings.
Eligibility training noticeTo: All Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) and State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) Applicants From: Michelle Gilchrist Date: February 18, 2008 RE: CFC and SECC Application Change The Combined Federal Campaign of North Central Texas (CFC) and the State Employee Charitable Campaign will be joining its application efforts for the 2008-09 campaign period. With a new application submissions process taking effect immediately it is strongly encouraged that your agency attends a 2 hour application training workshop. This workshop is designed to inform you of regulatory changes that could affect your application status; assist in the submission of a complete and thorough application; and provide critical dates, deadlines, and process details. Please RSVP your attendance by February 22nd to Marsha Gordon at (214) 978-2055, or electronically by submitting attendee’s name, agency, and training date to publicsectorcampaigns@unitedwaydallas.org . Space is limited so please RSVP today. Training dates are as follows: Fort Worth, TX (CFC Only), February 26th (10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)Carter BloodCare Administrative Offices 2205 Hwy 121 Bedford, TX 76021 Dallas, TX (CFC and SECC), February 28th (1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.)United Way of Metropolitan Dallas 1800 N. Lamar Street, 5th Floor Dallas, TX 75202 The opening dates for both campaigns (SECC and CFC) will be March 3rd – April 3rd, 2008 with absolutely no late submissions accepted. Agencies who take advantage of attending one of the above workshops will have the advantage of receiving the application prior to the opening date as they will be distributed at the trainings. Those who are unable to attend the training will be provided an electronic application on March 3rd, or can download the electronic file from the web at www.cfcnctx.org for CFC and www.secctexas.org for SECC (beginning March 3rd).
